Tagging kids
Legoland Denmark launched a scheme: children entering legoland will be given a RFID bracelets that tracks their whereabouts. This does 2 things:
1. The parents enjoy some peace as they don't have to worry that their kids will get lost.
2. Lego can track where each customer is, how long they are spending in each area and which products are proving to be most popular.
If this scheme proves to be profitable, it will be launched in Legolands everywhere.
Points to ponder:
It might not be feasible for you to make use of RFID technology. But how can you start tracking your customers habits without being a nuisance to them?
Thanks to B.L. Ochman for the tip.
