Tribute to Einstein
Today's 14th March. Albert Einstein's birthday!
Legend has it that young Al failed to pass math in school. And a few years later, when he applied to become a teacher, all the colleges rejected him. So instead, he became an examiner at the patents office. And wrote the Special Theory of Relativity while at work. A theory that only a handful of people truly understand.
Today, almost every one ranks Einstein as the smartest person who lived in the last century. But when scientists measured Einstein's brain after his death, they found that it was smaller than the average human's brain (1,230 grams - which is less than the average adult male brain of 1,400 grams).
Scientists found one more enigmatic fact about his brain: Even though his brain was smaller, the Density of neurons in his brain was way greater than the average brain! By sheer persistence in finding answers to questions, Einstein developed more neurons per inch in his brain than the average person.
A person who failed in school math, went on to become the best mathematician of all time - simply because of persistence!
